Also, They Don't Celebrate Anything Like Patriotism
The Musikfeuerwerk was quite spectacular. The show was set to Vivaldi, and quite well done, although a bit shorter than standard American 4th of July fireworks displays.
Today (Sunday) I went to church as usual, then with Geli, Frank, and Marina went to a museum in Sinsheim, about 45 minutes away. It was quite interesting and showcased all sorts of vehicles and airplanes and whatnot; I've opened a gallery with a number of pictures thereof. (Sinsheim Museum)
I don't have too much to report, really.
Also, probably against Parker's wishes, I've decided to include a bit of German in every post. Why? It makes it a little more authentic. I'm also doing it by popular demand, though if you don't know German, you wouldn't realize it. Besides, it will be fun, and people can test their German skills, whether they're aficionados like Matt, Mitch, or John, amateurs like Josh Mattson, or complete beginners, like Tay. ;)

Sup. We can play this game all day.
:-P
I'm kind of not reading your blogs very much anymore. 1 because there's a lot of German in there. 2 because I like to only read one blog at a time instead of four. 3 I'm pretty spent right know, and I have a little headache like you. You just called maybe 20 min ago. So far this season I have gotten 1 grandslam and 4 or 5 other homeruns. And boys think girls are bad at baseball and softball. Ha! A soon to be 8th grader is probably better than all you boys! And I have the best arm on the team. Not much going on here. Tomarrow Tanner is riding in the parade for BMX. Chad is too. Mom and I haven't been to the beach yet. There have been some really nice days too. Then again, she has a job now. I play in a softball tournament in 3 weeks for my JO team. Two out of three of us kids get a waterbed. Matt says we can have the waterbeds as long as he gets the car. That won't happen. I think I will go lay down or something. Happy 4th of July!
Love,
Zoe
Clues:
I have run out of clues because you can't guess who I am.
1. You probably wouldn't know it was me.
2. I would most likely be the last person on your list. Maybe.
Hint: You have to single me out when you guess. Otherwise I will think it's just a guess and not a for sure answer.
A problem amongst the women huh? Wouldn't want that to happen.
my brain hurts
I agree with Zoe, too much German. It would be ok to translate. At least I understood a bit of Parkers comment and I didn't need a dictionary. Anybody could understand the "tone".
Sorry I missed your call. If you can let us know ahead of time so we can be home or at least let you know if we are not. I hope the Advil took care of your headache. Matt had his meeting for Steubenville tonight. I got up and talked about the hot humid weather and sun screen and fountains. Did you know that KC is second only to Rome with the number of fountains it has? Matt learned that off the weather channel.
Tomorrow is the parade. We have our normal spot by the library, although I don't know where we are going for the fireworks, maybe just stay there like last year. Emily wanted to know where you were. I'm sure she understood Germany since she didn't ask me again. Jeff and Kass are really enjoying the blogs/comments.
We have a second showing to the people from Thursday on Tuesday am. I picked 25 quarts of strawberries that I have to turn into jam tomorrow, then clean house. If Tanner and Chad weren't in the parade I'd be tempted to skip. Maybe not, but maybe I'll skip the fireworks since I gotta work early.
We miss you,
love,
Mom
